Another exceptional service offered by Herman to the customers is that the company completely relieves its customers from the obligation to keep documents showing the purchase of tools and from the necessity to prove whether a tool is still under warranty or not.
If you buy tools directly from the headquarters (HERMAN e-shop, HERMAN sales representative), you are not required to show warranty certificates, receipts or invoices in case of tool repairs because Herman takes over the registration management of each tool free of charge.
This service is appreciated especially by customers that keep economic agenda at their head office, but a tool breaks down at a construction site which may be hundreds of kilometres away, and the delivery of the required documents would be rather time-consuming, not to mention that many people simply throw away or lose the proof of purchase…
If you buy your tool in a brick-and-mortar shop of a contractual seller, we do not have a record of the date of sale to the end user in our registry. In such a case, when sending the tool for repair, it is necessary to attach the proof of purchase and the warranty certificate.
However, if you register the tool on the website www.hermantools.com using the Registration Form, within 30 days, we will take over the registration management also for such a tool.
The warranty starts from the date of purchase, not the date of registration. In the case of cordless tools, all components of the set must be registered separately (bare tool, batteries, charger).
